What Is GreenEarth® Cleaning?

"Drycleaning" means laundering fabrics using a liquid other than water. Until recently, the only available drycleaning solvents were petroleum-derived hydrocarbons. Though these solvents are good cleaning agents, they pose potential hazards to our health and our environment. GreenEarth® Cleaning, LLC, has patented a process that uses a chemically inert liquid silicone solution instead. The GreenEarth® solution carries detergent to the fabric, then rinses away suspended dirt and oils trapped by the detergent, rather than chemically interacting with the fabric.

As such, the GreenEarth® Cleaning system is gentler on your clothes. Wools do not get "washed out", dry, or full of static. Silks, acetates, buttons and trim are treated tenderly. Fabrics retain their shape, color, and soft feel, remaining bright and intact. There's very little wrinkling and no nasty, chemical odor. The GreenEarth® Cleaning system does a particularly good job cleaning delicate clothes and high-end fashions with special trim.
